Nikki Ash "Clinched" It!

Title: Clinched: A Single Dad Romance
Author: Nikki Ash
Genre: Contemporary/Single Dad Romance
Release Date: April 28, 2018
Charlie is everything I want and didn’t realize I need. It’s clear to me now that the woman I met at the club is only one layer of the woman I’m falling for. I’m a fixer by nature but for the first time I wouldn't fix a thing. I want her just the way she is. Broken pieces and all. Who needs the fairy tale when we can have the reality.

Tristan is everything I want, yet don't deserve. He’s loving, protective, smart, an amazing father, and he’s on to me. That's why I need to speed this story up and tell him everything, so we can flip to the end of the book, and him and his daughter can move on to the next story. One where they get a happily ever after. Because there’s no story I’m a part of that ends in any way but tragedy.

And in case you're wondering, here is my "Heck yeah!" five-star review.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Funny how love has a way of showing up when it’s the last thing you’re looking for. Tristan has had two strikes with women. The first was his life-long friend, Bella, and the second was the mother of his daughter, who walked out of the hospital and out of their lives immediately after giving birth to Lexi.  When Tristan meets Charlie, he’s immediately drawn to her, but he can see that something haunts her. It doesn’t stop him from wanting to get to know Charlie better, and Lexi takes to Charlie immediately.

After reading the first book in this series, I jumped at the chance to read an early copy of this one. I loved Tapping Out, but this book was even better. Tristan and Charlie are realistic, complex, flawed and endearing and watching their story unfold was a terrific reading experience. Then add in the wonderful secondary characters and a gregarious, precocious five-year-old who breaks your heart with her innate kindness, and I couldn’t put this one down. It was an effortless read with a little heat, a little humor and a huge heap of heart – the perfect romance read to escape into.  I enjoyed this one so much I purchased my own copy and plan to read it again. Hopefully it won’t make me tear up the next time, because, that wedding scene? Oh my heart! This is definitely a 1-Clicker. Until next time, dear reader,

Much love between the covers,

BookAddict
