Friends to lovers books always tickle me because it’s such great entertainment when a character, usually the guy, figures out he's been in love with his best friend all along.  Dylan and Serena have been friends since they were in diapers and Serena has been on a five-year quest to find “The One.” While she certainly wouldn’t mind if Dylan was the one, his commitment phobia and presumed inability to love Serena they way he thinks she deserves make him a poor candidate.  

If you like a romance with a strong, independent heroine and a big-hearted but loveably clueless hero, you'll love Serena and Dylan's story. Their chemistry will raise your blood pressure, their banter will tickle your funny bone, and you’ll swoon at Dylan's romantic gesture.
