What the actual duck?! This writing duo has turned me into someone ruthless and blood thirsty with a dark side to my romantic heart I never knew existed. But it's quite the writing accomplishment when the blood, torture and pure evil are overshadowed by this epic love story to end all love stories! Because, what Talia and Kostas have? That's the soul-deep, beyond eternal love we all dream of. A love that sees the darkness and answers with light, a love that accepts every aspect of the beloved, no matter how flawed, broken or wrong it may appear to others, and a love that brings out the best in the other. 

Oh my heart, if ever there were two souls meant to be together, it's Kostas and Talia, and nothing on earth can keep them apart. Theirs is no hearts and flowers romance, but their bond is unbreakable, and anything that dares to stand in their way or try to keep them apart is destroyed. This is definitely a dark romance, but it will have you cheering for the monster and worshiping his queen. 

Usually I stick to light-hearted romance and romantic comedies, but this duet is easily one of my best reads this year. It owned my heart and I actually read it twice, happy to wallow in all the emotion and get tossed about on this exhilarating ride all over again. This one has everything: love, passion, betrayal, deceit, heartbreak, devotion, and finally, justice. 

My best advice is to buckle in and hang on tight because your mind will be screaming as you fly through the pages, and you'll be unable to put it down for even a second. And heaven help anyone who dares to disturb you while reading this. Warn your family and prepare to stay up late, because once you start reading, you won’t be able to stop.
