My Review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Skylar and Julius have a chance meeting in the park. Too bad it's Julius's three-legged pup that succeeds in sweeping Skylar off her feet. There may be the first few sparks of chemistry between Julius and Skylar, but the pooch has less arrogance, a warmer personality, and a far better apology technique than his human seems to.

These three, of course, meet again since Skylar works at the art gallery that has a new exhibit of the stunning black and white photography of the highly successful, Julius Ariti. Yes, there's a mutual attraction, but he has secrets and she has trust issues, and when does that ever work out easily?

It’s a real privilege to have started out with this talented lady at the beginning of her publishing journey, to watch her blossom beautifully in her craft, and to read what I think is her best book to date. She gives us a fresh, unique hero, characters who are deeper and more complex, and beautiful symbolism that is a direct arrow to the heart. With no effort at all,

I was completely on board and sympathetic to our surly hero's physical shortcomings and flaws. Although I wanted to shake Skylar just a little, I adore her – strengths, weaknesses, baggage and all – and it made my heart happy to watch both of these characters work through their issues and grow into the best versions of themselves along their journey to forever. When a three-legged pup named Chance knocks you off your feet, the last thing on your mind is that this accidental meeting may open up a whole new world of opportunities.
If you’re looking for a fresh, unique read with the perfect balance of humor, heat and heart, you'll definitely want to take a chance on this one. You just might find your own new possibilities as these characters sweep you off your feet!
